Axalta Coating Systems presents at PaintExpo 2022 in Karlsruhe: “Your Passion, our Coatings”, innovative products and services

Basel, Switzerland, January 2022: Axalta Coating Systems, a leading global supplier of liquid and powder coatings will present innovative products and services at PaintExpo. The world's leading trade fair for industrial coating technology will take place from April 26^th to 29^th , 2022, at the Karlsruhe Exhibition Center in Germany.

At this global event, Axalta will be presenting current developments in a full range of coating technologies. Featuring a portfolio of forward looking and state of the art liquid, electro-deposition and powder coatings alongside a modern range of colour services and comprehensive advice, users will benefit from synergies in technology. This will make an ideal contribution to preparing for a very wide range of customer requirements. Axalta’s coating solutions are used throughout the world in the transport sector, including the automotive and commercial vehicle industry, in numerous areas of general industry, the construction sector and for applications in architecture and interior design.

One area of the exhibition will highlight corrosion protection, to support with the daily challenge of finding a sustainable and cost-effective solution for protecting metal substrates. Axalta is presenting a wide range of liquid, electro-deposition and powder coatings suitable for single and multi-layer coating finishes, such as the multi-functional primer Alesta® ZeroZinc Uniprime and the E-Coat AquaEC 3500, which meet the most demanding corrosion protection requirements. The ProductSelector will also be highlighted, a newly developed internet based tool from Axalta guides customers to find the best coating system by applying certain criteria, such as climate zones and substrate.

Axata’s liquid paint system, PercoTop®, offers a genuine multi-talent product for industrial finishes. Regardless of whether metals, plastics or galvanized surfaces are to be painted, PercoTop® is suitable to coat almost all industrial substrates. This adaptability is attributable to an innovative paint mixing and binding system. It is also capable of providing practically any paint colour in the desired quality and quantity in the shortest possible time. Delivery is made within two to three working days to almost anywhere in Europe meaning the customer does not require a large inventory of paints in own warehouse. The batch-to-batch colour accuracy of PercoTop® is on an outstanding high level. PercoTop® paints can be applied with any common industrial coating application technology.

A comprehensive portfolio of powder coatings will also be on display at the Axalta Coating Systems stand. The wide range of different collections includes an inspiring selection of colours and effects with an almost unlimited freedom in design. Very high sustainability and good shelf life give powder paints a competitive edge. This makes them ideal for architectural applications, both indoors and outdoors, in which paint is not simply a question of colour.

The ColourService range for powder paints in architecture is presented by themes such as COLOURit, ColourSelector and customized Colourwalls. To arouse a passion for paints, Axalta has developed the "Colour Experience Room" concept and introduced it into various sites in Europe.
