The Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for providing financial analysis, reporting and general support for internal and external reporting, planning and processes. This individual will work closely with the entire finance group, as well as other departments and must be able to communicate process, concerns, questions, etc. This position will be based in Philadelphia, PA.
The Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for providing financial analysis, reporting and general support for internal and external reporting, planning and processes. This individual will work closely with the entire finance group, as well as other departments and must be able to communicate process, concerns, questions, etc. This position will be based in Philadelphia, PA.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Support and coordinate the internal and external financial reporting process on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Prepare certain footnotes for annual and quarterly reports
- Prepare regulatory/compliance reports
- Perform quarterly/annual analytical analyses of financial information
- Responsible for detailed documentation and reconciliations
- Prepare supporting schedules for auditors as requested
- Backup for Senior Financial Reporting Analyst
- Develop and implement standardized policies and procedures
- Support internal control environment to satisfy external and internal requirements
- Perform data mining and ad-hoc analyses as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related area
- 2-4 years of experience with 2 years corporate accounting experience preferred
- CPA preferred
- SAP/HFM experience helpful
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience in Consolidation Accounting or External Reporting helpful
- Good understanding of Financial Statements and SEC Reporting
- Experience with process/controls documentation
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and under tight deadlines
