Requirement
Relining of a drinking water tank meeting the BS 6920:2000 standard for use in contact with potable water. WRAS approved system. Approval Number 1204534.
Preparation
Substrate - Mild Steel. Prepared using rust scrapers, chipping hammers, needle guns, wire brushes etc to St2 standard of EN ISO 8501-1:2007 or equivalent. All scale was removed. The surface was washed down with clean fresh water prior to application and allowed to dry.
Coatings
One coat of Corroless™ EPF and one coat Corroless™ RF35 (2006), with stripe coating where appropriate.
