Axalta's COVID-19 Response

A message from Axalta CEO Robert Bryant

Axalta’s deepest sympathies go out to those impacted by coronavirus. The health and safety of our employees is our top priority, and we are committed to following the business and operational guidelines set forth by relevant authorities throughout our global operations.

The fundamentals of our business remain strong. From a manufacturing standpoint, we continue to produce to meet demand around the world. We have taken steps to promote social distancing and have instituted robust on-site hygiene practices and restrictions on visits to our facilities.

We are actively monitoring and managing supply chain challenges, including logistics. There have been no significant disruptions to date. Our team continues to mobilize globally and actively coordinate with our suppliers to identify and mitigate potential areas of risk and manage inventories.

Thanks to the outstanding work of Axalta employees around the world, we are continuing to deliver the outstanding service and products our customers expect from us. We have adapted to this unprecedented environment and have found innovative ways to remain connected and to provide training and technical support to transportation, industrial and refinish customers around the globe.

We have also been active in coronavirus relief efforts. Several of our manufacturing lines at sites around the world have been shifted to produce thousands of gallons of hand sanitizer to be used at our facilities and donated to local first responders and hospitals. We have also sent much needed personal protective equipment (PPE) to healthcare workers globally. For more information on our coronavirus relief efforts and how our products are helping customers, please visit our newsroom.

Axalta will continue to actively manage this dynamic situation. As we look ahead to a return to a more normal operating posture, our leadership team and all of our employees remain dedicated to operating safely, serving our customers, and supporting the communities where we work, live and raise our families.
