Claim: The union can negotiate to reclassify a production site to a chemical site
Axalta Facts:
- Site classification is determined by federal regulatory agencies based on operations and materials
- Unions cannot dictate how a site is classified
- Per the North American Industry Classification system (NAICS), Axalta is classified the same as similar coatings companies, including Sherwin Williams and PPG Industries
