Fairing Compounds


All Axalta fairing compounds are convenient and easy to use. Designed for application above and below the waterline, they can be applied up to 5cm thick without sagging or shrinking during the curing process

DP3330 Spray Fairing

  • 2-component chromate-free epoxy Imron Marine Spray Fairing.
  • Color: grey.
  • Composition based on epoxy resin

Properties

Following specifications listed in the Imron® Marine Manual and in particular:

  • bare metals: steel, aluminum and galvanized steel;
  • well prepared Gelcoat, well sanded fairing and cured repaired finishes.

Following specifications listed in the Imron® Marine Manual and in particular on following properly prepared substrates: Aluminum, steel, composites and wood

DP3350 Fairing Lite

  • Low density solvent-free 2-component epoxy filler.
  • Color: light grey.
  • Composition based on epoxy resin.

Properties

  • Very high film build.
  • Excellent adhesion on all Imron® Marine epoxy primers.
  • High humidity resistance and very good flexibility.
  • Recommended as thick fairing for all Imron® Marine systems.

DP3360 Finishing Filler

  • 2-component chromate-free epoxy Imron® Marine Finishing Filler.
  • Colour: grey.
  • Composition based on epoxy resin.

Properties

  • Provides, when used in combination with DP3350 Fairing Light, a complete filling and fairing solution for turning rough surfaces into perfectly smooth areas.
  • Very good filling properties. Suitable for use over rough substrates.
  • High humidity resistance and very good flexibility.
  • Recommended as final fairing for all Imron® Marine systems
