Voltatex 8616 C


Voltatex® 8616 C represents a class of thermoplastic bonding wire enamels. Voltatex 8616 C  bonding wire enamel can be applied to polyurethane or polyesterimide base coats. Magnet wires coated with Voltatex 8616 C as bond coat may be bonded by resistance heating, solvents or hot air. The minimum bonding temperature is 140 °C, but optimum bond strength requires a temperature above 170 °C. Combined with other Voltatex wire enamel products Voltatex 8616 C as bond coat exceed the requirements and technical conditions of IEC 60317-35/36 and acc. ANSI/NEMA MW 131-C, MW 135-C and MW 136-C. Listed test results based on Axalta Coating Systems standards, following IEC standards 60851.
