Requirement
External protection of electrical transformers and other complex equipment from corrosion in an aggressive, exterior exposed environment. Conventional systems had previously given poor performance.
Preparation
Previously coated and partly corroded steel degreased and hand prepared to St3 standard of EN ISO 8501-1: 2007.
Coatings
Coats of Corroless S1 and S2 Primer were followed by a topcoat of Corroless™ RF16. A stripe coat was applied where appropriate.
