Requirement
Transporting expensive aircraft wings, the trailers required an extremely tough but decorative high gloss finish in addition to possessing excellent resistance to aviation fuel. However, the customer was concerned that the external appearance was not marred by corrosion leaking out of unprotected box sections. As a result CCI Powder was blown into all box sections to ensure the continued anticorrosion protection of all internal surfaces.
Preparation
No preparation was carried out.
Coatings
The box section was treated with Corroles™s CCI Powder at 525 g/m³.
