Axalta received the Ford Green Pillar Award based on our commitment to transparency in the Ford product supply chain in 2017.

Axalta received Honda Brazil’s 2017 Best Supplier Award in the “Excellence in Quality and Delivery” category. The award recognizes top-performing companies based on criteria including quality, delivery, costs, development and environmental responsibility.
Axalta’s Mount Clemens, Michigan manufacturing center received Honda North America’s first Supplier Sustainability Award recognizing Axalta’s exceptional commitment to social responsibility.
Axalta received the Frost & Sullivan 2017 Market Leadership Award for the automotive refinish coatings industry in recognition of the company’s refinish brands Cromax®, Spies Hecker® and Standox® as best-in-class globally. The award specifically recognizes Axalta’s focus on environmental sustainability, innovative training opportunities and superior products that are designed to boost body shop productivity.
For the third year in row, Axalta was named a Supplier of the Year by General Motors in 2016. GM recognized 118 of its best suppliers from 15 countries that consistently exceeded GM’s expectations, created outstanding value or brought new innovations to the company.
Axalta-Huajia Coatings, a joint venture company of Axalta, won the “Top 10 China Powder Coating Product” award for its Nap-Gard® epoxy powder coatings products. The award, given by the Society of Coatings and Finishing (an affiliated organization of the Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China) recognized the innovation behind their durability, the anti-corrosion properties and ability to help meet sustainability goals.
Group Renault presented Axalta with its “Supplier Award for Innovation” in 2016. Axalta was the only supplier to win an award in this category in recognition of our new refinish fast-cure clear coat technology. The coating can dry faster and at lower curing temperature, which saves energy compared with conventional clear coats.
Axalta’s Energy Solutions division, which manufactures electrical insulation coatings, won an award for its technical paper in the category of New Materials Development and Applications presented at the 9th International Conference on Electrical Rotating Machines and Drives (ELROMA) 2017 in Mumbai, India. The conference is organized every three years by the Rotating Machines Division of the Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers Association (IEEMA).
Spies Hecker, one of Axalta’s global refinish brands of Axalta Coating Systems received the British Repairers’ Choice Award for being the most highly rated paint brand of the year 2016 – 2017. Spies Hecker was also named Paint Brand of the Year at the Irish Auto Trade Awards 2018.
Axalta in Brazil was awarded by Honda Automotive Brazil as one the best suppliers of the year—2016, during the 19th HAB Annual Supplier’s Ceremony.
Axalta Received Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Award for Most Improved Supplier 2016.
Axalta received an award from Ford Motor Company in Brazil for the best performance in the Environmental Management System in 2016.
The production team in Tlalnepantla, Mexico received the Ford Motor Company Q1 Quality Certification for work in 2016 that exceeded the quality standards required by the manufacturer around the world. The certification recognized constant focus on quality through all of our manufacturing processes.
