Electrical Insulation Systems

Our Voltatex® products provide insulation and corrosion protection for electrical conductors and components. Our core sheet varnishes applied at the mill reduce energy loss in magnetic motor cores. Fast curing improves sheet production rates. Axalta enamel coatings insulate and isolate wire. Better wire performance provides greater temperature stability, enabling smaller motors to operate at higher temperatures. Thermoconductive impregnating resins insulate finished motors, generators and transformers against high temperature. The water-based formulations of our core sheet varnishes and VOC-free impregnating resins contribute to environmental goals.                                        

Nap-Gard® fusion bonded epoxies offer excellent dielectric strength which in electrical power distribution is critical to insulating from incidental contact. Nap-Gard® products can be used in various electrical applications for insulating purposes.
