Axalta Coating Systems is pleased to announce the acquisition of U-POL Australia Pty Ltd and its affiliated entities, further strengthening our presence in the Australian and New Zealand markets. These businesses will now operate under U-POL Ltd UK at Axalta.

For nearly 30 years, U-POL Australia and U-POL New Zealand have been the exclusive importers of U-POL products, including the well-known RAPTOR® Coatings brand. This acquisition allows us to integrate U-POL’s innovative product range into our existing portfolio, expanding our offerings for the automotive refinishing industry.

To ensure a seamless transition, Daniel Harper, currently General Sales and Marketing Manager at U-POL Australia, will take on the role of General Manager – U-POL Australia & New Zealand at Axalta. Since joining the company three years ago, Daniel has played a key role in driving business growth and will continue to lead operations under Axalta’s direction.

With this acquisition, Axalta continues to strengthen its market position, offering a wider range of high-quality automotive refinishing products, including fillers, coatings, aerosols, adhesives, and protective coatings, to better serve our customers across the region.
