Axalta Partners with Training Services NSW – EmpowerHER Program

Axalta recently participated in a new Training Services NSW program called “EmpowerHER”, which is designed to give exposure to female school students to a range of different trades through a speed networking event with Industry partners.

The first event was held at Chester Hill High School (NSW) on 2nd March, where up to 40 high school girls were given some time with the Axalta team, trying their skills at virtual spray-painting, taking spectrophotometer readings along with other refinish-related activities. The second event took place at Cabramatta High School (NSW), with the third event concluding at John Edmondson High School (NSW) in early April.

This exciting program is aimed at giving female students the opportunity to hear from other females who have been able to forge a successful career in trades, and to have a ‘hands-on’ experience to further spark their interest in seeking a career in a trade.

Axalta will also support similar events that have been scheduled throughout the course of 2023.
